Quote Expiry

Modified on Thu, 4 Jul at 9:11 AM

Because product and labour pricing changes from time to time, we have introduced the ability to set expiry dates for quotes. This feature allows users to specify a date for quotes to automatically expire.

To set the quote's expiry, edit the quote and go to the Preview & send page

Learn how to create a quote here >>> Creating a Quote

The first section you will see will be the quote details where you can set the issue and expiry date. By default, the expiry date is set to 30 days from the issued date but can be adjusted according to your workflow.

The expiry date will also be displayed in the email sent to the customer, ensuring they are aware of the quote's validity period.

If there were no actions taken on the quote after the expiration date, it will then be automatically archived. No further actions can be taken on the quote and the issuing organisation will have to create a new quote.

The quote archive logic has been updated to align with the new expiry feature, ensuring that expired quotes are handled appropriately.
