The Open Quotes section of the portal is where you can view all the created and active quotes. All quotes with the following status will be shown on this page:
- Drafts - The quote has not been sent to the intended contact and has only been saved. You can make changes to it by following the steps from this article [insert updating quotes link]
- Sent - The quote has been sent to the contact. This can be sent again by following the steps from the Resend a Quote guide.
- Approved - Until they are converted to a job, an approved quote will show under the Open Quotes page. See how you can convert a quote to a job here.
Accessing the Open Quotes page
To access the Open Quotes page, navigate to Operations → Quotes → Open quotes.
1. Filters - You can search for a quote using the filters. The search bar will allow you to search for an open quote using any of the contact details e.g. name, email address, pool address.
The 'Filter by' page can be used if you want to filter quotes according to their status: draft, sent, or approved. You can also filter according to the job tags. Additionally, you can filter quotes by the date they were created.
2. New quote button - New quotes can be created by clicking on this button. The full guide to creating a new quote can be found here [insert new quote article here]
3. Status column - This column will show the status of each quote.
4. Actions column - The actions column has two clickable options: the trigram symbol which will give you more options to take for the quote and the trash icon which will allow you to delete the quote.
The trash icon will not show on approved quotes. The options you will see when clicking the trigram symbol will depend on the status of the quote:
Sent - Approve, Reject, and View details
Draft - Edit quote, Preview & Send
Approved - View details and Schedule
