Jobs - Day View.

Overview
Day view shows all jobs scheduled for that day, listed by technician and times, as well as the job details.





Access Day View
 

Click on Jobs on the left-hand dashboard, then click Calendar.



  • The blue vertical line indicates the current time.


  • The symbol on the top right of the job indicates it is part of a recurrence pattern, if there is no symbol, it is either a one-off job or a recurrence job that has been rescheduled but the recurrence pattern has not changed.


  • Change Days - Click a day at the top left of the calendar.



  • Return to Today's Date - Click the Today label on the right-hand side of the refresh symbol.


  • Change Week - Click the forward or back arrows on the right side of the days.


  • Collapse Technician Names - Click the left-hand arrow above the technician names.



  • Refresh Page - Click the refresh symbol on the left-hand side of Today.


  • See Job Details - Hover over the job to see more job details

    • You can view the job, do a quick update or move/reschedule the job from this detailed view.


    • OPEN indicates the status of the job. 


    • The colour to the left-hand side of the job is the colour label allocated to the job.



  • Map view - Click the map view toggle in the top right-hand corner to access the map view.


The Map view can assist with scheduling the jobs in an efficient pattern.

  • This will display the technician's location when the tech is logged into the mobile app.

  • Jobs and technician's locations are displayed in separate colours, as well as the job sequence as scheduled.

  • Hover over the job number to show job details, view or move the job. 

  • See the location of the business.

  • You can zoom in and out and set it to full screen.

  • Select satellite view.

  • In full-screen mode, click Esc to return to normal view.

  • Click the Map view toggle to exit the map view.



  • Unassigned Jobs - These are jobs that have been scheduled for a particular day and time, but not assigned to a tech.

    • To assign to a tech, click, hold and drag the job to the chosen tech.

      If the unassigned job is part of a recurrence, you will get a prompt if you want to apply the changes to just the current job or to the whole recurrence. 




    • You can also change the job from an assigned tech to unassigned, click, hold and drag the job to unassigned. 


  • Reschedule Job - You can reschedule a job to a different time or tech, click, hold and drag the job to a different time or technician, then select whether you want to reschedule This job (will not change recurrence pattern) or This job and the following jobs (change recurrence pattern) and click confirm.


  • View Unscheduled Jobs - click on the View Unscheduled button at the top-right corner of the page. The unscheduled jobs list is viewable in all calendar views on any given day.



  • This will show a list of unscheduled jobs on the left-hand side of the calendar.


  • You can search for an unscheduled job by clicking in the search jobs bar.

  • You can schedule the job to a tech and day, click, hold and drag the job or click on the job to open and schedule.

  • You can change a job from scheduled to unscheduled, click, hold and drag the job from the calendar to unscheduled.


  • Click Hide unscheduled jobs to close.



  • New Job - This is where you can create a new one-off or recurring job, this is explained in detail in a different section of the knowledge base.


  • Filter allows you to change the way jobs are filtered or displayed on day view

Click Filter to the top right of the calendar, in day view you can filter by:

  • Techs

  • Tags

  • Colours


  • Filter by Status - Click the drop-down box arrow to select job status, can filter by:

    • All jobs

    • Open jobs

    • Complete jobs

    • Job sheet sent

    • Invoice sent

  • Change Job Displayed Options - Click boxes to the left-hand side of each option to deselect, all options are displayed as default.

    • Job type

    • Suburb

    • Customer

    • Street
