Creating a Quote

Quotes are sent to customers to provide them with a brief overview of the service and its associated costs before they commit to a specific service.

Creating a Quote


1. Start by accessing the quote section by navigating to Operations → Quotes → Open quotes. Click on the 'New Quote' button at the top right corner of the quotes page. 




You can also click on the global create new icon at the top of every page to create go directly to the Create Quote page and bypass the other steps. 




2. Fill out the quote information. 


  • You can search for the pool address/contact name within the search contact box. 






  • You can change the contact or address by clicking on the Change icon. 



  • Add the job type and modify tasks accordingly. Remove tasks by clicking on the red rubbish icon and add tasks by clicking on the 'Add task' icon. Type in the custom task and press enter then click on the Save button to update all the tasks. 





  • Add any quote notes and customise the quote items. You can modify the service/items to include. Click on the 'Add item' icon to add more items. Click on the red rubbish icon to delete any product. 




  • You can also add a custom item not predefined in the product section by clicking on the 'Add Custom' button after clicking 'Add item'.





3. Save or Send the quote by clicking on the 'Actions' button at the top-right corner of the page. Select Preview & send if you are ready to send the quote. Clicking on Save will save the quote as a draft. Afterwards, you will be redirected to the 'Open Quotes' list. The status of the quote will then display as 'DRAFT'.

  • The 'Preview & sendand ' option enables you to preview and edit the issue date, email subject and message, and quote expiry. Once you are ready, click the ' Send quote' button to dispatch the quote.

  • The 'Preview' button at the bottom provides you an option to preview the email message and the quote PDF.

  • After clicking the 'Send quote' button, you are redirected to the 'Open Quotes' list. The status of the quote should then display as 'SENT'.
