Overview

With Seasonal Recurrences, you can now create a customized and efficient schedule tailored to customers' seasonal needs. This article explores setting and creating default seasons for recurrences and scheduling a job according to seasonal recurrences. 

Creating Seasonal Recurrences 

1. Follow the process of creating a new job and click on the Make Recurrence option. A pop-up window will appear where you can set the recurring pattern for the job. Select the Seasonal option.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. You can select the frequency within each season. For example, you want the job to be scheduled weekly during the summer, and then monthly during the winter season.  
   
   
   
   
   

You may also select the months you would like to include in the season or use your custom recurrence period by selecting them from the Apply from period drop-down. In the example above, the job is scheduled to be done weekly, every Saturday, during the summer and every month in the Winter.

3. Click on the Create button at the top-right corner of the page to save and schedule the job. 

Creating Recurrence Period

You can create your recurrence period to be used in the seasonal and custom patterns. 

1. Navigate to Setup → Custom Fields.
   
   
2. Select Recurrence periods.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Click on the New Period button at the top-right corner of the page.
   
   
4. Enter the custom name of your choice, then the start and end months. Adding a description is optional.
   
   
   
   
5. Click on Save.
