This article tackles how the entire invoice can be viewed and breaks down its components to enhance familiarity with the invoicing details. Understanding these details will empower organisations to effectively manage and leverage the invoicing features and improve their workflow. 



Accessing the Invoice details view 





To access the invoice details view, follow the steps below: 


  1. Navigate to Operations → Invoice. 
  2. Click on the detail panel toggle or any part of the row to reveal the invoice overview. 
  3. Click on the View Details button to view more details about the invoice.





Invoice details components


 


  1. Invoice information - This panel will show the invoice information such as the job, invoice number, date sent, due date, and amount. A preview of the introduction email can also be seen here.

  2. Invoice items - In this part, you will see the products and/or services included in the invoice. This also includes the subtotal, the added GST, and the total amount of the invoice.

  3. Invoice Summary - This portion shows the summary of the invoice and its current status.

  4. Action button - Clicking this will show the actions that can be applied to the invoice such as:

    i. Resend Invoice - This allows you to resend the invoice. You will be taken to the invoice resend page [insert invoice resend KB]

    ii. Preview invoice PDF - Select this if you want to preview the invoice PDF.

    iii. Preview Job sheet PDF - Click this to preview the job sheet PDF.


  5. Pool details - The invoice details will also show the specific pool where the job was completed. Additionally, users have the flexibility to edit the pool information and attach notes related to the pool, and these notes are seamlessly synchronised across the platform.

  6. Contact- The contact details will also be shown within the invoice details section. Like the pool section, you will have the option to edit and add contact notes from this page which will be synced across the platform.
