Notifications - Sent SMS messages.

This guide will cover methods for tracking and managing the SMS notifications you've sent to your customers. By gaining insights into the status and delivery of your SMS notifications, you can maintain timely communication and improve customer engagement. The Sent SMS messages page will show all the SMS notifications sent to your customers. This includes their statuses, other information regarding the notification, and other actions that you can do. 





Access the Sent SMS Messages page 



To access the Sent SMS Messages page, navigate to Operations → Notifications → Sent SMS Messages. 



Components of the Sent SMS Messages page 



Search for an SMS message 



Click the search SMS field and enter the needed information to auto-search. 


Filter by Type


You can search for an SMS message based on their type. Below are the types of SMS notifications: 


  • Tech on the way 
  • Job complete 
  • Booking reminder
  • Booking changed 
  • Water test result



Filter by Status 




You can also filter the messages according to their status: 


  • Delivered 
  • Undelivered
  • Queued
  • Sent 
  • Failed


Filter by Date 



Click the 'from' date and enter the date you wish to start the search from, you can either enter a date manually or select the specific date using the date picker. 

You can also choose to narrow your search using the pre-defined options:
  • This week

  • Last week 

  • Last 7 Days

  • Current month

  • Previous month

  • Next month



Sent SMS Messages columns




1. Status column - This will show the status of the message.


  • Delivered  - The SMS was successfully delivered to the recipient. 
  • Undelivered - The notification was not successfully delivered to the recipient.
  • Queued - The message is in line to be sent out and is waiting for its turn in the delivery queue.
  • Sent - The SMS has been successfully transmitted from the sender's end.
  • Failed - The SMS delivery attempt was unsuccessful, and the message could not be delivered to the recipient.

 

2. Sent Column - This shows the time stamp for when the notification was sent. 

3. Contact column - The contact where the SMS notification was set. 

4. Type - This is the type of notification sent to the recipient. 


  • Tech on the way - This SMS notification informs the customer that a technician is en route to the site. 
  • Job complete - This SMS notification alerts the customer that the job has been successfully completed.
  • Booking reminder - SMS reminder for a scheduled job. 
  • Booking changed - Notifies the customer of any changes or updates to their previously scheduled job. 
  • Water test result - This SMS notification provides the customer with the link where they can view the water test results of a water test conducted on their pool or spa. 


5. Number column - The phone number intended to receive the notification. 


6. Action column - You can edit the phone number, view the message, and resend the message by clicking on the navigation/hamburger icon. 



Resending is an option exclusively applicable to failed messages and remains available for a duration of three weeks from the initial message dispatch.
