Create a new job

Modified on Tue, 23 Apr at 2:03 PM

Admin users with mobile access can create a job through the mobile app and manage other modules. The job created through the mobile app will be automatically assigned to the logged-in user.

Creating a job through the mobile app

1. Tap on the Jobs tab in the mobile app.

2. Tap on the (+) icon to create a new job.

If you do not see the + icon, you're probably on offline mode. Ensure that you are connected to the internet. You can also try to quit the app, open in again and refresh the screen by dragging it all the way down.

3. Select the pool where you want to schedule a job and the job type.

4. You can add a colour label. Most of the time, tasks are pre-loaded from the job template but you can add tasks accordingly.

5. You can add products to the invoice if they are not part of the job template by tapping on the Add Product option.

6. Add job notes if applicable.

7. Tap on the arrow under the Date & Time option to select a schedule for the job. Tap on a specific date.

a. The date with a blue circle means that it's the selected date. You can tap on the arrows at the top to move to the next/previous weeks.

b. Drag down the blue horizontal line to expand the calendar and show the rest of the calendar dates.

8. Select the start and end time by tapping on the calendar icons. Select confirm once done.

9. After confirming the date and time for the job, you will be routed back to the job creation screen. The selected date and time will then be shown. Toggle the Set Recurrence switch if the job will be a recurring one.

a. Select a recurring pattern and tap on Save.

10. You will be taken back to the job creation page again. Verify if the date, time, and recurring pattern is correct before tapping on the green Save option.
