Jobs - Send Job sheet separately

Modified on Wed, 7 Aug at 12:45 PM

The job sheet can be sent separately once the job is completed without generating the invoice. This is especially useful if your invoicing is done in the office or you have a dedicated personnel/team who is in charge of the invoicing rather than being done in the field.

How to send the job sheet

Once the job is completed, you can then proceed to send the job sheet.

1. Click on the Actions button at the top-right corner of the page and select the option Preview & send job sheet.

2. By default, the date of visit will show the original date for when the job was scheduled. You can change the date of the visit by selecting another date from the calendar picker. You can also add a CC email by typing the email address on the field and pressing enter.

3. Configure the job sheet by toggling the 'Configure' option. Check the settings you wish to apply to the job sheet. Click on the 'Preview' button to preview the email or job sheet PDF.

3. After reviewing the job sheet email and PDF, you can either click on Send or mark it as sent.

Mark as sent will generate the job sheet attachment but will not be sent to the customer. The Send option will send the job sheet email and job sheet PDF.

Calendar View

Once you send the job sheet, the job will have the job sheet sent indicator in the calendar view and the job colour will change to the following color:

The colour helper will allow you to easily identify the job's status.

Open, Work in Progress, Unscheduled

Job Done, Complete

Job sheet sent

Marked as invoiced

Invoice paid, Invoice sent

To check if the Job sheet has been sent successfully, navigate to Operations → Notifications → Sent Emails.
