Overview
The Staff Leave feature is designed to help organisations effectively manage job scheduling by providing an organised system for tracking staff leave. This feature allows admins to easily monitor, schedule, and record staff leave, ensuring smooth operations. Admins can see at a glance who is available or on leave within the job calendar and avoid schedule conflicts.
Setting up staff leave
There are two ways you can set up staff leaves: within the calendar or the Team page.
Setup through the calendar
- Go to Operations → Jobs → Calendar
- Click on the three vertical dots beside the technician's name
- Click on the Edit leave option
- Click on the 'New leave' button
- Add a leave description and the leave duration
- Click on Save
Setup through the Team or Edit profile page
- Navigate to Setup → Team Or simply edit your user profile
- Click on the Leave tab at the top
- Click on the 'New leave' button
- Add a leave description and the leave duration
- Click on Save
How to view the staff leave
The job calendar will show an indicator that the staff is on leave on a certain date. It will show a blue horizontal bar
in line with the tech's name. A label with the text "vacation DD/MM/YYYY - DD/MM/YYYY" is visible when hovering over this bar, which shows that the technician is on vacation during this period. The visual representation of the leave spans across the workdays on the calendar.

Editing existing staff leave
Just like the setup procedure, you can make changes to the staff leaves directly through the calendar and the Teams page within the user profile.
To edit the leave directly through the calendar, click on the three vertical dots beside the technician's name. Click on the pencil icon to change the duration or description of the leave. Clicking the red rubbish icon will delete the leave.
To edit the leave from the Team → User profile page, go to Setup → Team. Click on the technician's profile or the pencil icon. Once you are on the user profile page, click on the "Leave" tab. Clicking on the pencil icon will allow you to edit the existing leave while the red rubbish icon lets you delete the scheduled leave.
