To be able to send SMS reminders to your customers, you would need to enable SMS messaging and add an SMS pack to your account. 

What exactly is an SMS pack? 

An SMS pack is essentially a bundle of SMS credits that you purchase to use for sending reminders or notification messages to your customers. Think of it as a prepaid plan for text messaging, where you buy a certain number of credits upfront and then use them as needed. 

In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of configuring your SMS settings and adding an SMS pack to your Pooltrackr account. 

Access the Configure SMS page and enable SMS messaging

To access the Configure SMS page, navigate to Operations → Notifications → Configure SMS. Toggle the Enable SMS messaging switch to turn on the SMS messaging feature. 

Configuring SMS pack 

A. This is the Enable SMS messaging toggle. You would need to enable this to allow SMS notifications for your account. 

B. Select any available SMS pack. The numbers determine how many SMS messages you can send.

C. If the Enable auto top-up switch is turned on, the system will automatically charge the payment method on file and top-up your SMS subscription when it drops to 25. Make sure to enable this to ensure SMS reminders and notifications will reach your customer promptly. 

D. Click the Buy SMS credits button once you are ready to add the SMS pack. Note that you would need to add a valid payment method on file in the Plan & Payment section under Setup. Learn how to add a payment method on file here > > > Setup - Plan & Payment
