Edit Job

You can edit a job through the mobile app if you have the necessary permissions.

To view a job within the mobile app, start by tapping on the Jobs tab and look for the job you want to edit. You will then see the job details screen. 



Job Details and editing screen 




A. Contact/Pool Overview - This part will show the contact's name, job type, pool address, and job schedule. The pool key will also be shown in between them if a key is added to the pool details. 


B. Photos tab - Tapping this will show the pool photos.


C. Start button - Tap on the Start icon to start the job timer. This can be paused and stopped in the same area. 





C. Pool tab - Tap on this tab if you want to edit the pool details. Note that you are only able to edit the details of the pool associated with the job here. 


D. Contact tab - You can make changes to the contact details for the customer/contact associated with the job from here. 


E. Comms tab - This is where you can change and send the SMS message if you opt to send a Tech on the way notification to the contact. 


F. Job Switcher - You can switch to other jobs for the pool by tapping on the Previous option for past jobs or the Next option for upcoming jobs. You will also see the specific date of the job just below the labels. 


G. Contact Info field - In this field, you will see which contact is linked to the pool, the contact email address, and their phone numbers (if added). You will also see the contact/pool relationship at the upper right side of the field. This will either show as Owner, Tenant, Agent/Strata. 





H. Notes section - You will find the job notes in this section. If a pool or contact has pool/contact notes, they will be shown on this field. Depending on your organisation's processes, you will also see/edit the PO number here (if applicable). 







I. Tasks field - You can edit existing tasks by tapping on them. A new task can be added by selecting the Add Task icon below the last task. If you wish to delete a task, tap on the trash icon beside a task.





J. Hardware Readings - This is where you can edit/add the hardware readings. You would need to connect a device for this. 






K. Job colour - Job colours serve as the indicators for a job. You can add/change it by tapping on the Select colour option in the job details screen. You can then select your preferred colour. To learn more about setting up job colours, check out the Setup - Colors guide. 






L. Job Photos - You can add photos to the job from your camera or gallery by tapping on the Add Photos option. These photos can be sent to the customer as part of the job sheet/invoice email and stored in the Job Photos section against the pool record in the portal.





M. Include Chemical test switch - Switch on to include chemical test. You'll see the Volume, Surface and Sanitiser in the POOL INFO section - if these are incorrect or incomplete you can add or update this information by tapping the POOL tab.





N. Invoice section - Invoice line item titles, quantities and prices can be edited by tapping on the field and other products can be added to the invoice. To do this, you may follow the steps below: 


1. Tap on the Add Product button 

2. If you want to manually search for a product, tap on search and type the product name in the Search for products field. Select Scan if your organisation has barcodes added to each product and Custom for custom products. 

You can tap on the preview icon found at the top right corner of the screen to preview the invoice items. 

3. Tap on Done. 


Any notes that you want to appear on the customer’s invoice can be entered and these are carried through to integrated Xero/Lightspeed accounts.




O. Schedule a follow-up option - Tap this option if you want to schedule a follow-up job and enter the reason for follow-up in the new window that would appear.
